Scleroderma and the associated complications including ILD, Sjogrens Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis drained me physically, mentally , emotionally and financially and killed my confidence. But with my family’s support, and a strong will power, I have learnt to get back on my feet every time a new hurdle comes up.
I did not give up then and I will not give up now or ever.
I was a Probationary Officer in a PSU Bank, which was a customer facing profile, the mere fact that people don’t understand rare diseases made it to be such a toxic environment to work in that I had to quit my job. It was a heart breaking and confidence shaking experience for me, but I moved on, and got my life under control.
