Diagnosed with lupus in 2012, just as I graduated as a doctor. It affected my joints and I took it hard as it hit me both personally and professionally. But managed to overcome this and went on to do a masters too. Support from family and friends, lifestyle modifications and learning to manage stress has got me so far. It is a lifelong learning process but it has made me a more empathetic person. Learning to live in the now. Here for anyone going through the same issue. Here to lend a ear.
