I have dealt with my fair share of body image issues throughout my childhood and well into my adult years. They were triggered by someone I was dating at the time and in all honesty, I'm better today, but It's something I'm still working on.

The incident that has really impacted me is the death of my father. I lost him at 15 to cancer. Dealing with loss and the grief that comes with it at a young age is not easy at all. At this time, I received support from friends and family and talking to people really helped me understand what was going on in my head as well.
