Born with a cleft palate and a cleft lip, got operated for the palate at the age of 14 which is quite late. Due to that delay, developed low self-esteem, and fear of self-expression, and, when one can’t express themselves in the world they live in, they create their own world. So, I did the same thing, created an alternate reality in my head with my alter ego named Daniel. Another contributing factor to my Multiple Personality Disorder was the parenting I had received. My mother was mentally unstable, which meant witnessing things varying from extramarital affairs to domestic violence on a fairly regular basis. This continued till my father passed away when I was about to complete my schooling which dragged me into believing that I had to take responsibility for myself and do something in my life and most importantly get away from my mother. Four years later, after trying a bunch of stuff, dropping out of college, and passing a whole pandemic in my room, came to Bangalore to start something of my own and finally get the space I wanted.
