Who is it for?

NoPorn is a porn addiction and compulsive sexual behaviour recovery peer support program. We're available to anyone seeking sexual self-improvement.

We host community challenges in which participants abstain from pornography and masturbation for a period of time, generally 30 days or more. Whether your goal is casual participation in a monthly challenge as a test of self-control, or if porn use has become a serious problem in your life, you will find a supportive community here.

How it works

Getting started

- Sign Up through the form here.
- You are added to a peer group. Group participants include other members seeking sexual self-improvement and a SoulUp moderator.

Reboot Challenge - 1st day of the month

Share the following information.
- Are you not going to allow yourself to masturbate? View porn? Orgasm whatsoever? Can be one or all of these.
- How long do you want this challenge to last? By default it is one month, but 90 days is recommended for rebooting.
- Why are you doing this?

Arriving late? (past the 1st of the month)

It's okay! Still state your intentions and don't postpone rebooting based on the day of the month. People can join in at any time to participate.

Track your progress

You will be tracking consecutive days of abstinence. If you break your streak, you begin the count again.

- You will mention your count in your daily check-in.
- We will also be providing you a printable tracker which can help.

How will the group keep you on track?

1. Daily Check In
- Every day between 8 - 10 PM IST, check-in with your group members by posting a text update on the peer group.
- Mention the number of days since the challenge. If you relapse, begin your personal day count again. And how are you feeling. You can also track progress though printing this chart (have to make on Canva)
- Example: 12 Days | Feeling hopeful

2. Other Posts - Use the group for other updates and support. Some ideas on what you can post here:
- Your personal struggles/challenges and low points and how you navigated
- Updates on removing temptations
- If you’re feeling you can slip, post here to request help/motivation replies
- Pictures of things/activities you are doing instead of spending time on sexual activities such as workout, cooking, journaling, could be anything at all.

3. Weekly Check-In
- Connect through a Zoom link - you can join anonymously (with a pseudonym) and stay on or off video as per your comfort.
- We might go through an exercise, offer each other support, discuss a particular subject, or have an open discussion. At the end, we set goals for the next week.

Why join this group?

Prolonged or intense exposure to pornography causes the brain to wire itself in ways that can create negative effects in a person’s life, such as sexual dysfunction, addiction, and other related problems. If you believe porn use has become a serious problem in your life, you will find a supportive community here.
