NITK alum. I had a job that I liked initially. Over time, it had started to get redundant and boring. On top of that, there was a lot of favouritism going around in my workspace. Certain people were progressing much faster than others. The cherry on the cake? Projects started changing direction once every few weeks! All of this led to one thing - I felt stuck in a job which I now started to hate, and I found myself questioning "Why am I here?". The answer to it - I was too afraid to quit. I realised that when I was called to office one day and told "Shashank, you must resign". Yep, I had feared about what I'd do if I were jobless, and I became jobless! So in a weird twist of 'fate', I ended up facing the situation I was afraid of the most. And if you're afraid of something going horribly wrong, let me assure you, you're not alone :)
