I am a Thalassemia major patient. Thalassemia major is a genetic blood disorder that affects the production of haemoglobin, resulting in severe anemia and other health complications. Patients with thalassemia major require lifelong blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy to manage their condition. I have been through a lot of struggles as a patient since my birth.

There are numerous struggles I have been through which includes frequent hospital visits, painful procedures, and the burden of managing a chronic illness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and delayed growth and development. Additionally, thalassemia impacted on my social and emotional well-being, as I started feeling isolated, and stigmatized. Despite these challenges, I demonstrated remarkable resilience and strength in managing my condition and pursuing fulfilling lives.
