Went through immeasurable grief when I lost my husband suddenly at the age of 38 and was left to look after my two young children. Recurrent thoughts during those days were, "Why me?" But it had happened and now it was up to me how I deal with it-he would not have wanted me to just exist and that's what I did- I chose to LIVE - live with his memories and be happy , so that my children will lead a happy life too. I remarried, a kindred soul like me who too had lost his spouse midstream, leaving him to fend for himself and his three children. Today, after 18 years of togetherness, we feel blessed to see our children settled in their walks of life. Carrying our memories forward, we have built a new life for us and our children.
