Our son was born with Fragile-x Syndrome. Now 20 years old, independent and now verbal, he has come a long way from the hyperactive non-verbal child and taught us a lot in the bargain. In 2015 I also started a support centre called Mitr for SCAN for which I volunteer a lot.
