I was diagnosed with anxiety & anhedonia. The only child of a single parent (who went through marital rape, physical abuse and emotional neglect, has a history of seeing a psychiatrist). Financial troubles. Sexual abuse in a relationship. Sexual harassment & emotional neglect in childhood. Mother placed my worth on my efforts in academics and being validated by my adults, she was absent as a parent, was narcissistic, co-dependent & had paranoiac tendencies. Been to therapy & worked on my self-worth, developing confidence & healing trauma.
