36 years old, single woman, not married, have my own thoughts already seems like a threat in the patriarchal society I am part of. Above that, I have never been able to see myself being a part of the rat race. Started with a job in corporate, moved to Govt job, left that, and always opted for my mental health over everything which was never easy. I changed my career altogether listening to my intuition and moved to social sector. Have been working with NGOs for the last 8 years, still seeking things that can help me reach my higher self. I have worked with NGOs working in women empowerment, mental health, gender sensitization, etc. I am also a passionate animal lover, keep volunteering with animal shelters. Dogs are my best companions, they are my stress Busters.
