About the Group

If you’re a single parent, you’re probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit underappreciated. This is your space to connect with others on a similar journey - to get support, to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope and encouragement.

Who is the group for?

This group is for single Dads and Mums. Ones who are constantly being the problem solver, the fixer and the caretaker.

What will we talk about?

• Holding space for the highs and lows
• Feeling isolated or misunderstood
• Challenges in relationship with our children
• Balancing work and parenting responsibilities
• Navigating co-parenting and communication with a former partner
• Finding and maintaining a support system
• Exploring our hopes and dreams as parents
• Carving out personal time and self care
• Just getting through the challenging times
• Discussing the unique challenges and experiences of single parenting in different family structures (e.g single parent by choice, single parent due to divorce or separation, single parent due to the death of a partner)

  • I am so grateful to have joined the group. I feel more connected to others, less alone in my experience, and supported. To someone in my situation who was considering SoulUp, I’d simply say: DO IT

    Vipul

  • Thank you everyone for creating such a supportive community here. I’m so freaking grateful!

While the format can vary as per topic, here’s a flow that most sessions follow

Check In. Participants check-in with each others' feelings and answer the prompt given by the facilitator if any.

Conversation. Your facilitator will guide the group in a free-flowing conversation—with the goal of sharing openly, talking honestly, and deep emotional connection.

Check Out. Participants share what they're taking away from the session.

What am i going to get out of this?

Participants say that they feel heard, understood, more in control, and a feeling that you’ve got people rooting for you. By talking about your emotions and what's going on in your life, you'll realise that you're not alone and get ideas for how to improve your situation.
