About me
My name is Deepika Oberoi. I am a Counselling Psychologist, psychotherapist, and inclusive educator committed to creating safe, supportive, and empowering therapeutic spaces. I am trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Transactional Analysis, the Rogerian person-centered approach, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). In addition, I am a certified QPR Suicide Gatekeeper, hold a diploma in inclusive education, and have completed a yoga certification to support holistic well-being.
With over five years of clinical experience, I have worked with individuals across a wide age range—from children as young as five to adults in their seventies—allowing me to develop a nuanced understanding of different life stages and challenges. My areas of expertise include child and adolescent counseling, premarital and relationship counseling, low self-esteem, stage fright, confidence building, and therapy for depression, stress, and anxiety. I also provide parental counseling and work with individuals experiencing identity-related concerns.
I hold formal training in family therapy and have around 3 years of practical experience in working with families, particularly parent-child dyads and couples with teenagers. My work with families focuses on improving communication, strengthening emotional bonds, and addressing developmental and relational concerns in a collaborative manner.
Additionally, I have experience supporting individuals in addiction recovery, having worked for a year at a rehabilitation center, where I provided therapeutic support to clients navigating substance use issues.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
