Femitha holds a triple honors degree in English, Journalism, and Psychology from St. Joseph's University, Bangalore, and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Sampurna Montfort College. With over 2,000 therapy hours and more than three years of experience, she worked in private practice before joining The Alternative Story, a leading mental health organization in Bangalore.
There, she served a diverse clientele aged 8 to 45, conducting individual and couples therapy while supervising other therapists and mentoring trainees. As a visiting faculty member at St. Joseph's University, she taught various psychology modules.
Femitha specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues, workplace challenges, grief, and sexuality-related concerns. Using a person-centered approach, she tailors her methods to each client’s needs, employing techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
