Goals of the Group

• To enhance one's ability to work through infidelity.
• Explore themes such as guilt, shame, anger and disappointment.
• Understand the impact of the incident on one's current and future relationships
• Initiating an internal dialogue on one's emotional needs and learning to communicate the same

Who is the group for?

The group is for adults (18-45 years) who have been betrayed by their partners. This is a place for those struggling with infidelity to ask questions and get support. There can be great comfort in not carrying this burden alone.

What will we talk about?

1. The Incident
• What brings you here?
• Creating a shared understanding of infidelity

2. The Emotional Experience
• Identifying and managing your emotional experience of infidelity.
• Acknowledging these difficult emotions and the need to stay with them.

3. Forgiveness & Trust
• Engaging with the idea of forgiveness and the function of blame.
• Confronting conflicting thoughts
• Understanding your definition of trust and identifying your emotional needs to give way resolution

4. The Present & the Future
• Understanding the impact of the incident on your present and future relationships.
• Discussing where you would like to see yourself in the near future in terms of interpersonal relationships.

  • Thank you not just for your stories, your video links, book suggestions, podcasts, and just making me realize I am not alone. Those of you who got a head start have been inspiring proof that things will work out in the future.

    Anshul

  • Hearing all stories, and seeing the support has been a real comfort and has let me reclaim sanity and find closure for myself.

    Surbhi

  • Thank You everyone sharing your stories and supporting each other. I found my SO was cheating about six months ago and it destroyed me on every level. I got into therapy immediately but I wanted more support and this group has been extremely helpful.

What happens in a group session?

While the format can vary as per topic, here’s a flow that most sessions follow

Check In. Participants check-in with each others' feelings and answer the prompt given by the facilitator if any.

Conversation. Your facilitator will guide the group in a free-flowing conversation—with the goal of sharing openly, talking honestly, and deep emotional connection.

Check Out. Participants share what they're taking away from the session.

What am i going to get out of this?

Participants say that they feel heard, understood, more in control, and a feeling that you’ve got people rooting for you. By talking about your emotions and what's going on in your life, you'll realise that you're not alone and get ideas for how to improve your situation.
