An unsatisfying career and a broken marriage left me feeling underconfident, lost, and hopeless.

Suicidal ideation and a bout of clinical depression led me to seek professional care,
which was the best decision I made. I realized that nothing is more important than my
physical and mental well-being. Yoga and spirituality have also helped in my journey.

At 28, while my peers were settling down, I chose to take career counseling, explore
new options, and change careers.

Navigating single life and building a new career at 34 is exciting but can sometimes
feel lonely. I’m learning to take one day at a time, embrace my worth, and love myself
a little more every day.

I learned the hard way that there’s always hope, even when it seems like a dead end,
and talking can sometimes help kindle that thread of hope and bring in some clarity.
