Why solve for chronic pain in group?

The goal of the group is to create a safe and supportive space for those of us living with chronic pain.

Pain can be isolating and depressing. People in pain are constantly being judged by those who don’t have pain. People think you are fine because pain is invisible. In a support group, you are with others who know this isn’t true.

The space is designed for you to find support and learn practical coping mechanisms.

Who is the group for?

This space is for anyone living with chronic pain. Chronic pain comes in many forms and from many causes: systemic conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia or malignancies; injuries or surgeries; and localised pain such as lower back pain, pelvic pain, abdominal pain, headaches and migraines.
