In 2021, in the middle of lockdown, there was a major cancer diagnosis in my immediate family that was testing for us as a family, and I've been trying to navigate my role as a daughter and caretaker ever since. That was also a time that was difficult for me as a student, having to decide in a short period of time what I wanted to pursue and from where, and also went through many academic setbacks. 

Now, a third-year student pursuing Psychology as a career, I am confronted with trials and tribulations that I'm sure a lot of people my age can relate to: carving an identity for oneself, navigating relationships, financial troubles, building a career, and so on. I am trying to figure out who I am as an individual and the kind of path I'm on, while also trying to help people around me and be helped in the process.
