I was born in Nepal and educated in India, I grew up in a joint family before eventually separating and living with my parents. I experienced a beautiful year of marriage before the COVID-19 pandemic brought challenges, including negativity and toxic behavior from my in-laws. Despite my efforts to work out the marriage, my husband consistently favored his parents, leading to mental torture and financial strain on my family. After the separation, before I got a divorce for almost a year I tried contacting my ex-husband but he ceased all contact. Finally, after a year of trying and being ghosted, I decided to take a divorce. It took me another 2 years to finally get through it. Navigating post-divorce life has been challenging. Though I am an open-minded person, I continue to persevere and grow throughout this journey.
