About me

Hello, I’m Divya, a psychotherapist offering therapy sessions under supervision. With a Master’s in Psychology (Positive Clinical Psychology and Technology) from the University of Twente, Netherlands, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Counseling Psychology from Fergusson College, Pune, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds across both urban and underserved communities in India. My approach to therapy is eclectic and collaborative, with a strong foundation in person-centered principles. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and I aim to create a space that is tailored to your specific needs. I focus on providing a non-judgmental, strengths-based perspective, allowing clients to explore their concerns in a supportive, empowering environment. My practice is grounded in a rights-based, anti-oppressive, queer-affirmative, and trauma-informed framework.

I have supported clients in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-image issues, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, chronic illness, childhood abuse, loneliness, existential concerns, domestic violence, and sexual and reproductive health concerns. If you’re looking for a space where your voice can be heard and your journey can unfold, I’d be glad to be a part of it.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
