About me

I am a trauma-focused psychotherapist and an expressive arts and narrative practitioner. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed and queer-affirmative approaches, guided by intersectional feminist and humanistic principles.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women (Delhi University), a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Trauma-Focused Therapy from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. I am also trained in Expressive Arts Therapy (Fortis, Gurgaon, in collaboration with UNESCO) and hold a Diploma in Narrative Therapy from Dulwich Centre, Australia, and Children First, India.

My research on expressive arts therapy and death thought accessibility has been published in the Journal of Psychological Research (2021), and I presented my work at the 32nd International Congress of Psychology (2020).

In therapy, I prioritize equality, collaboration, and dignity, moving away from the stance of an expert. When words feel inaccessible or heavy, I connect with clients through metaphors, visuals, music, movement, theatre, cinema, and colors.

My Areas of Expertise

  • ADHD, Autism & Neurodivergence
  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Self-esteem, Identity & Confidence

My Lived Experience

As a neurodivergent individual, I'm passionate about supporting others in an inclusive and empowering way. I also have a history of complex trauma, which drives my commitment to creating safe spaces that acknowledge how trauma shows up in our lives—while also honoring the many ways we resist, adapt, and heal in our everyday experiences.

Key Therapeutic Approaches I use

  • Narrative, Expressive Arts & Play Therapy
  • EMDR & Trauma-Focused Approaches
  • Humanistic / Person-Centred Therapy
  • Integrative / Eclectic Approach

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
