About me

Mrudula Goswami is a dedicated and compassionate Counselling Psychologist with over 7 years of professional experience supporting individuals across a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and workplace stress. She has worked extensively with adults, children, and corporate populations, offering evidence-based, client-centred therapeutic care tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. To date, Mrudula has conducted 2,000+ counselling sessions, helping clients navigate personal, interpersonal, and professional challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental space.

Her therapeutic approach is eclectic and integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), humanistic, and Jungian-oriented frameworks. This allows her to adapt interventions thoughtfully while fostering self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being. She is known for her empathetic presence, ethical practice, and commitment to creating a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.

In addition to individual counselling, Mrudula actively contributes to mental health promotion by facilitating corporate stress-management and mental health awareness sessions, supporting organisations in building healthier and more emotionally resilient workplaces.

Alongside her clinical work, she plays a supervisory and mentoring role, guiding junior therapists in clinical skill development, ethical decision-making, and professional growth. She maintains thorough and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring continuity of care and high ethical standards. She also has experience in designing and structuring online educational content for psychology students and mental health professionals.

Mrudula holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the Madras School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ethiraj College for Women. Her work is guided by a strong belief in empathy-driven care, ethical practice, and empowering individuals to develop healthier coping strategies and meaningful personal growth.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
