About me
An active member of the World Mental Health Association, I am closely associated with organizations dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being. I maintain an independent practice as a psychologist, supporting clients through a wide range of mental health concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, phobias, and relationship and family issues. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities such as NLP, CBT, behavior therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and suicide risk management.
Over the past five years, I have developed extensive experience in family therapy, working with a diverse range of family systems including parent-child dyads, couples with teenagers, and intergenerational families. I am comfortable working with families experiencing high conflict or trauma, and I approach each case with sensitivity, discretion, and a deep commitment to confidentiality. My therapeutic work with families is multi-pronged and tailored to meet the unique needs of each dynamic.
I have conducted numerous sessions on stress management, emotional coping, and life skills for students across different age groups. I am actively associated with schools and colleges, offering life skills training through both offline and online platforms.
At present, I am a guest professor at a prestigious NAAC-A accredited university in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and was awarded a scholarship for two consecutive years in recognition of academic excellence.
Additionally, I am trained in Career Navigator’s comprehensive profiling system, designed to support both students and working professionals. My interests lie in continuously developing new skills and refining therapeutic approaches to enhance the effectiveness and depth of the therapeutic process.

Key Therapeutic Approaches I use
Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions
Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
