Lost someone very dear to me to Cancer. Spent hours and nights at hospitals in conversations with other patients, nurses and other staff (not doctors). Saw life and death - up and close. Realised how 'hope and cheer' bring a world of difference for those who are battling terminal illnesses. Lost my good 10 years of my 20's dealing with existential questions, listening to terminal folks - who are surprisingly more fun and cheerful than most job holders and so-called successful people.

I cried, cried, cried harder and then laughed, laughed and laughed even harder.. And what did it do to me? Made me realise the simple joy of living. Watching the blue sky, feeling the touch of the green fauna, smell of fresh breeze and the dance of sunshine on my skin! I died in those long hospital corridors and was born again in the lap of bright sunshine of the eternal majesty of creation :)
