I have been working as a matrimonial lawyer since 27 yrs and closely interacted with couples. The emotional trauma of a family breaking up effects on so many parameters. The worst affected are the children. I faced similar issues in my marriage too. My personal experience gave me insight and depth on many levels especially mental well being and coping up is not easy. I have become more empathetic and can understand the fears, anxiety of the family going through such hard times. Till date I am in a process of healing and coming to terms . Hopefully sharing my experience will help someone going through it.
