Had a spinal cord injury at the age of five when the Bhuj earthquake hit in 2001, which left me paralyzed from the waist down. In the early years of my injury, with my entire academic life ahead of me, I was denied the right to education as no schools were ready to admit me. I had to fight against the patriarchal nature of society throughout this challenging period. As I navigated my journey, I faced work-life stress and battled feelings of loneliness and isolation. However, I persevered, overcoming these challenges and advocating for myself and others.
