I strongly believe in the phase " don't let your illness define you." When I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, my first reaction was to go on Google search. I had no idea about this disease. I didn't have anyone to speak to or find anyone who is dealing with the same disease. I felt lonely and scared. But I didn't let it defeat me. I owned it and became a warrior in my own right. I fight this disease every single day. Some days are hard, some easy and sometimes there is no fight. I didn't go on medication and decided to deal with it with lifestyle changes and spirituality.

The 2 years with this disease have been a huge learning experience. I realised how little people know about this disease in India and even if a few are struggling with it they struggle in silence. We all need support and at times support coming from the people who are suffering from the same problem makes a huge difference. I am here to provide that support and make that difference.
