I had an amazing childhood which culminated into an equally joyful teenage, and I was fortunate to have an amazing support system leading to an IIT admit. There also, I was full of life and active in all spheres of life. The desire to achieve something incredible, the ambition to leave a mark in the world was the constant background with which I lived my college life. 

In spite of my high activity, I was still directionless, hankering for prestige, and achievement. Somehow I landed up with a good masters prospect in Canada, and even there this hankering for achievement continued.

This dissatisfaction of material achievement, hankering in love life, and strong desire to achieve greatness led to the practice of Kriya yoga. This was the single worst decision in my life which led to massive instability, psychiatric diagnosis, complete loss of confidence and hope.

The asthanga yoga practices in their original form are very powerful but they are not recommended for our age. The process for this age is the chanting of the holy names of Krishna. 

I was fortunate to come in touch with ISKCON Bangalore group of temples. Through the association of the devotees and practices, I have my life, energy, enthusiasm back.

According to the scriptures, this is the only real way to attain complete self realisation and be happy in this age. Isn't that what we're really searching for ? Pure, uncontaminated, happiness ?
