I was born with mild cerebral palsy and grew up facing judgment and exclusion because of my visible gait difference. One of my earliest memories is being left out of sports activities during school PT, despite being one of the stronger players.
Later, after completing my Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, I faced repeated job rejections because of my gait rather than my abilities. These experiences were painful, but they also shaped my resilience, strengthened my self-belief, and taught me the importance of empathy, perseverance, and looking beyond appearances.
