After my mother passed away in 2013, I found under the weight of responsibility for my family. It was a difficult journey, marked by overcoming depression and navigating through a toxic relationship from my college days. Despite the challenges, I held onto the belief that everything happens for a reason, finding strength in the face of adversity. 

My dad was abusive alcoholic. My mom committed suicide because my dad had not stopped drinking. My dad took even more refuge in alcohol once my mom died and he lost his mental state because of alcohol abuse. I became a support for my dad after my mom passed away. Had faced financial situation, we are 3 siblings.

I helped my father quit alcohol through my love and support, and he did quit . My siblings didn't use to like my father at all, but since he changed his ways, they've started to like him and he supports them as well as me. My suggestion is not to abandon those who are yours just because they're alcoholics. Don't behave badly towards them because they're alcoholics; instead, try to help them get better because they're yours.
