I had an uncanny & frightening experience of visual & auditory hallucinations, coupled with strange delusions. Later, I got diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I was out of touch from reality (Psychosis) for around 3 months. Along with this, I was diagnosed with OCD, Depression & Anxiety which had devastating effect on me both personally & professionally. At a point of time I was also contemplating suicide. After treatment for nearly 6 months I managed to bounce back & face whatever life throws at me.

Am also a trauma survivor. I was sent to a boarding school during my Higher Secondary years. The school was nothing but a living nightmare for me. It exposed me to the world of gang wars, drugs abuse etc.
6 months of my life got wasted there as teachers & management were not interested in education but only minting money. Being frustrated & fed-up of all these, the students decided to ransack & destroy the school infrastructure. I could never forget the night when around 300 hostellers totally destroyed the school from benches, boards to lab equipments & buses, nothing was left. All of this made me severely depressed & detached. I was academically ruined for a year.
It took a lot of effort and willpower to survive those days when I didn't feel like waking up and getting out of my bed. Eventually things got better & I managed to crack my medical entrance exams.
