Have suffered with very low self-esteem for more than 10 years, struggled with things that are known as common sense usually and got ridiculed many times.
Struggled a lot with relationships, social interaction, execution of tasks. 
Learnt a lot about human psychology and emotions all when I was going through lowest phases of my life, not to forget taking care of a full time career as a software engineer.
Being diagnosed with chronic depression for years to coming back from it to later discover that I have ADHD has been a very, very tough journey till now.  I have helped myself by two techniques - awareness and acceptance. Awareness of my own thoughts and emotions, acceptance of self.
I don't say that my problems are resolved, but the situation is much better, I feel happier. I think many will be in similar situation, and I can help from my own experience.If someone is feeling darkness ahead and is hopeless, I can guarantee that my experience will have a lot to tell and come out of any such temporary situation.
