I’ve been anaemic since childhood , my haemoglobin was as low as 4.3. It was after 9 years of suffering that I finally I got to know about the root cause of my health challenges. It was Celiac Disease. At first yes I was really happy that now I know why I’ve been suffering this whole time. But little did I know a new journey had begun with n number of challenges and questions which many didn’t have answers to. Leading to mental health challenges affecting job, relationships, friendships. But I was fortunate to have a strong network of people who were at least willing to support and understand.

After 6 years of diagnosis, now I feel finally I’ve understood what exactly is Celiac disease and how I can not let it become the centre of my life.
