I’ve struggled with complex trauma for most of my life. I didn’t know what it was at first—just had a deep sense that something wasn’t right. I met several therapists along the way, but only a few truly helped. Eventually, I decided to take things into my own hands. I began reading more and more about trauma and have been on a healing journey ever since. Today, my anxiety feels a lot more manageable.
The process hasn’t been easy—there have been setbacks, confusion, and emotional exhaustion. But I’ve also discovered parts of myself I didn’t know existed: strength, self-compassion, and clarity. Healing hasn’t been linear, but it’s been real. And that’s what keeps me going.
