Life for me has been nothing but a series of curve balls. Some I have managed to dodge while some hit me. One such curve ball was my getting a divorce and trying to figure out next steps in life. Having a successful career and being a senior professional fortunately money was not an issue but trying to find that peace and mental balance was. In the midst of being lost and confused, one best decision I made was to move to India with my company after living and working 16 years abroad.

And the first thing I did was to pursue my only dream of becoming a mother. I tried single-parent surrogacy, which failed and finally applied for single parent adoption. In March 2020, finally that dream came through and a beautiful 3 month old baby girl walked in my life. Today I am a happy working single parent of 3 year old, strongly facing all the curve balls that life still manages to throw at me.
