Goals of the group

Dating Fatigue is a structured group experience which allows participants to have objective conversations about relationships and related behaviours. The emphasis is on achieving emotional progress and building greater resilience

The group will help in decoding your readiness for long-term relationships and also benefit those who have been in long/short-term relationships in the past.

Format of the Group

Dating Fatigue is a mixed format group.

Workshops with an experienced psychologist - These will cultivate a more informed understanding of emotions and behavior as it relates to relationships. There are 4 workshops of 1 hour each.

Group conversations - The group approach brings together people facing similar questions and problems. Conversations in a group exposes members to honest narratives of others which in turn provides better perspective and possibly, everlasting connections :)

Session 1: Dating Fatigue

• Learn how the process of finding love is affecting your mental health.
• Relieve anxiety and stress generated by the whole process.
• Boost your emotional resilience by learning mindfulness and other coping techniques.

Session 2: Decluttering

• Increase awareness about the internal and external barriers in the process.
• Gain insight of self-sabotaging patterns.
• Unlearn and learn to make space for another person in your life.

Session 3: Emotional Freedom

• Set yourself free from past emotional baggages and take power in your hands again.
• Transform roadblocks into opportunities to know yourself better and learning how others respond.
• Provide yourself a sense of direction by creating new parameters by learning your VITALS.

Session 4: Happily Ever After

• Learn healthy relationship skills.
• Rewrite your narrative and experience shift in perspective.
• Q&A session with the therapist.

Meet your Facilitator

Charvi Didwania

Psychologist and CBT& REBT practitioner. Charvi loves all kinds of arts, has a background of fine arts, always interested in literature, writes poems from time to time. High functioning introvert, have passion for reading books and psychology. Her approach as a psychologist is direct and binding. She thinks behavior neither decide the destiny nor the character, you always know who you are. She believes in positive regard and humane nature of people and incorporates this in her counselling process. When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting and less scary, take a step always to support yourself.

While the format can vary as per topic, here’s a flow that most sessions follow

Check In. Participants check-in with each others' feelings and answer the prompt given by the facilitator if any.

Conversation. Your facilitator will guide the group in a free-flowing conversation—with the goal of sharing openly, talking honestly, and deep emotional connection.

Check Out. Participants share what they're taking away from the session.

What am I going to get out of this?

Participants say that they feel heard, understood, more in control, and a feeling that you’ve got people rooting for you. By talking about your emotions and what's going on in your life, you'll realise that you're not alone and get ideas for how to improve your situation.
