A dedicated psychiatrist with an M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Psychiatry, they bring extensive clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community mental health settings. During Senior Residency, they developed strong expertise in managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions using a patient-centred, evidence-based approach. Their practice integrates psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and neuropsychiatric assessments to provide holistic and individualized care.
Their clinical interests include major psychiatric disorders, addiction psychiatry, liaison psychiatry, and psychiatric emergencies. They are also actively involved in academic and clinical research, with publications focusing on depression in chronic medical illness, psychosomatic disorders, and anxiety-related feeding disorders. Their M.D. thesis explored treatment-seeking pathways in alcohol use disorders, reflecting a deep interest in understanding mental health within broader social and systemic contexts.

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist.
Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.
Cancellation policy
You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.
Late to session policy
If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.
Cancelling part of a bundled session
For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
