About me

Chandan Raj Shekhawat is a counselling psychologist and certified CBT practitioner with over 6 years of experience in the mental health field. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples, supporting them through emotional distress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, parenting issues, and life transitions.

Her therapeutic approach is empathetic, non-judgemental, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Chandan focuses on creating a safe and reflective space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their emotional patterns and experiences. She believes healing begins when individuals feel seen and supported.

Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Chandan integrates structured interventions with emotional insight to help clients build healthier coping strategies, strengthen communication, and develop long-term resilience. Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist.

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
