About me

Niharika is a psychotherapist . I am passionate about making mental health services ethical and accessible and I believe in every individual’s right to dignity in the system . I work from a relational and psychodynamic framework , I believe that in therapy , the therapeutic alliance is of utmost importance. My approach is humanistic in nature and I work through a trauma and queer-informed lens. I hope to create and facilitate spaces open to various groups and intersections of society. I am an avid researcher and have worked in crisis areas .
I have a bachelor’s (honors) in psychology from St. Bede’s College, Shimla, and a master's in clinical psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. I am also in training to be a group analyst from Group Analysis India.
When I am not advocating for mental health, I love to travel and volunteer in different spaces. I also love to tell stories through pictures.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
