About me

Patchara is an RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist, Couple Therapist, and Family Therapist with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). She holds her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Fergusson College, Pune.

She currently works in private practice, offering online individual, couple, and family therapy to clients across India. She also works as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with Ishira Mind Clinic, Bengaluru.

Patchara has two years of experience working as a Clinical Psychologist on a NIMHANS project focused on mental health promotion and suicide prevention among students from tribal schools in Maharashtra. This experience has contributed to her understanding of mental health within diverse social and cultural contexts.

Her therapeutic approach is mindfulness-based, attachment-informed, and trauma-informed. She works from a Dalit-Bahujan-Adivasi (DBA)-affirmative and LGBTQIA+-affirmative lens, with a focus on creating an inclusive, respectful, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and relationships.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
