About me

Richa Jaiswal is a Counselling Psychologist who believes that therapy begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted. She works with adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples, supporting them through challenges related to relationships, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and life transitions.

Her approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic Therapy, and Transactional Analysis. She adapts these approaches to each client's unique needs, ensuring that therapy unfolds at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful to them.

Richa strives to create a safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their emotions, understand recurring thoughts and patterns, and make sense of experiences that feel overwhelming. She believes there is no fixed timeline for personal growth and encourages clients to move at their own pace, whether that means slowing down to reflect or taking steps towards change.

Her goal is to help individuals feel less alone in their struggles, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and discover ways forward that feel authentic to who they are. Outside her work, she enjoys painting, walking her dog, spending time with her daughter and friends, journaling, and listening to music.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
