About me

Sakshi Shah is a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She brings a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach to therapy, creating a space where clients can slow down, make sense of their experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.

Her clinical experience includes working alongside mental health professionals in counselling and psychiatric settings, where she has been involved in psychological assessments, case formulations, personalised therapeutic resources, and support for a range of emotional and behavioural concerns. She has also facilitated relaxation-based interventions, including Jacobson’s Progressive Muscle Relaxation, and contributed to mental health workshops in school and corporate settings.

Sakshi believes therapy is not about telling clients what to do or changing who they are. Instead, she works collaboratively with clients to understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and experiences, and explore healthier and more meaningful ways of navigating them. She welcomes clients who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, stuck, or unsure about what is bothering them, as well as those who simply want to understand themselves better.

Her work places emphasis on self-awareness, emotional understanding, and developing healthier coping strategies. She aims to create a space where clients do not need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy, and where they can explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. Ultimately, Sakshi hopes to help clients build a more understanding, intentional, and compassionate relationship with themselves.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
