About me

Shen is an Expressive Movement Therapist working at the intersection of expressive arts, movement, somatics, and trauma-informed psychotherapy. She works with adults navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, life transitions, and their connection with themselves and others.

Her approach supports self-exploration, emotional expression, self-esteem, and embodied awareness, helping clients connect with and understand their experiences beyond words. She incorporates movement and somatic practices to create space for greater emotional awareness and self-understanding.

Shen’s practice is queer-affirming and neurodivergent-affirming, with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment. She works collaboratively with clients to explore their experiences at their own pace and develop a deeper, more compassionate connection with themselves and their bodies.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
