Simran believes that every individual is unique and has a right to a safe space where they can share their deepest feelings and thoughts. She hopes to provide such a space with her practice and believes that compassion, empathy and non judgemental listening can work wonders! Simran follows an eclectic approach and is also trauma informed in her practice.
Simran has pursued her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Christ (Deemed to be University), specialising in Clinical (Mental Health) and Community Practice. She also holds a PG Diploma in Counselling. Simran has worked in multiple mental health settings including De-addiction center, as an Assistant Profesor, in suicide prevention helplines, as well as a Researcher and Program Manager.
Additionally, she is also QPR certified as a Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper. And has conducted various group sessions and live programs on topics such as suicide prevention, empathy, active listening, addiction, etc.
