About me

I’m a counselling psychologist and supervisor, and the founder of Identity Therapy. I hold an MSc in Mental Health Studies from King’s College London, a PG Diploma in Supervision for Mental Health Practice from TISS, and additional training in Life Skills, Sexuality & Reproductive Health from Enfold India, along with a Queer Affirmative Counselling Practice certification from MHI, India.

My work focuses on adolescents and young adults (ages 16–35), supporting them through a wide range of mental health concerns—emotional regulation, stress, identity, gender and sexuality, queer-specific challenges, interpersonal issues, and career-related struggles. I approach therapy with a queer-affirmative, intersectional feminist, and social justice lens—both as a practitioner and as a person.

My therapeutic approach draws on Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I value meeting clients where they are, building self-awareness, collaboratively exploring patterns, and working towards meaningful change.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
