About me

Ujjwala Chourasia is a psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychology and over 15 years of experience in counselling, education, and mental health support. She specialises in industrial and clinical psychology and is a trained practitioner in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT).

Over the past decade and more, she has worked extensively with educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and NGOs, as both a Health & Wellness Teacher and counsellor. Her work focuses on supporting adolescents, students, and parents through psychological counselling, career guidance, emotional well-being, and developmental challenges. (including work with children aged 5–12).

As a freelance consultant psychologist, Ujjwala has helped children and adolescents navigate behavioural concerns, anxiety, depression, academic stress, soft skills development, and career-related decision-making. Her approach emphasises self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal responsibility, while encouraging young individuals to recognise their strengths and learning styles.

Ujjwala believes in creating a supportive and structured space that enables children and families to overcome challenges, build resilience, and work towards healthy personal and academic growth.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
