About me

Vishwa Jani is a Trauma-Informed Counselling Psychologist with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology. She is also a certified Art Therapist from IIPR, Bangalore. She works with individuals who may be feeling emotionally overwhelmed or dysregulated, anxious, constantly stressed, or finding it difficult to move forward after challenging experiences.

Vishwa believes therapy is a collaborative process where clients and therapists work together at a pace that feels natural and comfortable. She strives to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can be themselves and explore their inner experiences without pressure to fix or perform. Emotional safety is at the heart of her therapeutic work.

She follows an eclectic approach with a trauma-informed lens, integrating somatic and body-based practices along with art and narrative practices. These approaches can help clients develop a deeper understanding of their experiences, strengthen emotional regulation, and reconnect with themselves. She also believes that moments of lightness and humour can make the therapeutic process feel more human and safe.

For Vishwa, building a genuine therapeutic connection and understanding who a person is beyond their struggles are important parts of the process. Over time, therapy can support clients in feeling more stable, clear, connected, and emotionally regulated. For those who may feel hesitant about starting therapy, she offers a gentle, collaborative space to begin one step and one conversation at a time.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
