Help me find a Group

There is no definitive guide to navigating the journey of grief. In one fleeting moment, life unfolds seamlessly as you had envisioned, and in the next, everything transforms into a tapestry of the unexpected. It could be the loss of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, or a reality that no longer exists. Grief redefines everything. It redefines your mornings, your energy, your identity, and too often, it does so quietly, unexpectedly, and without anyone around you really seeing the burden that you bear.

If you have ever thought to yourself:

"I'm not sure anyone would really understand what I'm going through."

"I should have healed by now. Why do I still feel stuck?"

"Everyone around me is moving on. I'm the only one who still feels like this."

"I don't want to burden anyone, but I wish someone would just listen."

Then you are not alone, and you don't have to navigate this alone either. Support groups make you feel connected, heard, and supported through some of the most emotionally nuanced times of your life.

What Is it Like to be in a Support Group?

Joining a group can be a little scary at first. You may worry about whether you'll have to share immediately or if others will even understand your story. But the truth is kinder than that. Sadness and emotional suffering can be extremely isolating. Most people around you won't understand the depth or intensity of what you're experiencing. Some will even want you to get back to "normal" many months before you're ready. Support groups break the walls of solitude. They surround you with others who are on a similar path, not to compare suffering, but to acknowledge, "I see you. I have felt something like that too."

These groups offer:

● A confidential and safe environment to discuss openly or just listen

● Shared knowledge that makes you feel less isolated

● Expert guidance from therapists trained in creating a sense of emotional safety and healing

● Strategies and techniques to assist with managing strong emotions, anxiety, sorrow, and inner turmoil

● A consistent beat to your healing, so you can start to feel more solid again

Personal Growth Starts Here, One Session At A Time

Emotional healing can't always be reduced to one thing. That's why we have a broad array of group themes, each focusing on particular challenges. Some of the top areas include:
● Grief:
For those working through the loss of someone close to them, a parent, a partner, a sibling, or a friend. This group assists you in diving into how to bear your loss without losing yourself.
● Grief for Parents:
Created just for those who have lost a parent or a child. The loss here has a different gravitas frequently unspoken in the outside world, and this group makes it possible to allow that burden to be expressed and explored gently.
● Depression:
When you wake up feeling like you're carrying a weight that won't budge, or you find yourself disconnected from things you used to enjoy, you're not weak or lazy. It shows you how to understand depression and move through it, not around it.
● Anxiety:
For those whose minds never seem to stop; who worry incessantly, or experience a subcurrent of fear that they can't shake.
● Overthinking:
When every choice becomes a cycle, and your mind never seems to wind down, we assist you in breaking the pattern of mental rumination and finding clarity again.
● Emotional Regulation:
For individuals who either feel numb or overwhelmed most of the time, we provide methods for recognizing and expressing emotions in a positive, stable manner.
● Bhagavad Gita for Inner Stability:
The teachings of the Bhagavad Gita are examined not religiously, but as a repository of eternal psychological and emotional wisdom.

Who Can Join These Groups?

You don't have to have any background in therapy or group work. Our groups are welcoming to:

● Those grieving loss, feeling overwhelmed emotionally, or navigating life changes

● Those looking for clarity and strategies to manage anxiety, rumination, or burnout

● Those seeking to develop their emotions in a secure, structured setting

● Anyone seeking a genuine connection and expert guidance

How do these Sessions Work?

● We conduct sessions online using Zoom, so you can easily attend from home or work.

● Each group has only 5–6 members, allowing the experience to remain personal and intimate.

● Expert therapists facilitate the sessions, adding evidence-based techniques and a warm, human touch.

● The experienced therapists actively show empathy towards your experience and conduct exercises and activities to foster effective communication and coping skills.

● Each session integrates support, therapy, skills building, and decision-making assistance because healing is not a single-dimensional process.

What You Can Expect to Gain?

● A more profound knowledge of your feelings and reactions

● Practical tools for navigating grief, anxiety, and challenging thoughts

● A secure, supportive network

● Calmness in the areas of life where you are stuck

● A newfound sense of hope, no matter how slight it may be

Taking the First Step

You don't need to be "ready." You simply need to arrive as you are. SoulUp circles exist to meet you where you are, and walk with you as you move toward healing.

If something inside of you is softly calling for space, help, or even just a respite from holding it all together, this could be the time.

What happens in a group session?

While the format can vary as per topic, here’s a flow that most sessions follow

Check In. Participants check-in with each others' feelings and answer the prompt given by the facilitator if any.

Conversation. Your facilitator will guide the group in a free-flowing conversation—with the goal of sharing openly, talking honestly, and deep emotional connection.

Check Out. Participants share what they're taking away from the session.

What am I going to get out of this?

Participants say that they feel heard, understood, more in control, and a feeling that you’ve got people rooting for you. By talking about your emotions and what's going on in your life, you'll realise that you're not alone and get ideas for how to improve your situation.
