About me

I have a total of 10 years experience as a school psychologist - 6 years in India and 4 years in the UAE. I have also managed my own private practice in India.  5 years out of my 10 years was spent in Aditya Birla Integrated School which was school for students of determination, i worked directly under Dr Zirak Marker, a renowed child psychiatrist in Mumbai, India.   While working with Dr Marker, I also developed a mental health curriculum for schools called Minds Matter.   In the UAE, i have worked for 2 schools Wesgreen and Ambassador International Academy. We won a TES award  for Mental health initiative and at AIA we were nominated for best Pupil initiative in Wellbeing for Mena awards. My passion has always been working for families as we cannot just work exclusively with the child. Working in schools this has been my biggest learning. As i now transition into a therapist I hope to bring my skills as an Arts based therapist and school psychologist to space where we can therapeutically work with families.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
