About me

Garima Nirankari is a clinical psychologist who believes that meaningful change begins in a space where individuals feel heard, understood, and accepted. She brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy, grounded in active listening and unconditional positive regard, fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.

She has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, emotional reactivity, relationship difficulties, ADHD-related challenges, self-harm, trauma, burnout, self-esteem issues, OCD, dissociation, personality disorders, and marital concerns. She also works with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse psychological needs.

Garima follows an integrative approach, combining person-centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), along with mindfulness-based and trauma-focused interventions. Her work focuses on helping clients understand their inner experiences, regulate emotions, and build effective coping strategies for long-term well-being.

With a strong foundation in psychological assessment and psychotherapy through her MPhil training, she tailors her approach to each individual’s needs, supporting them towards emotional stability, self-awareness, and personal growth. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys dancing, painting, and solo travel, which enrich her perspective and connection with people from diverse backgrounds.

Therapy Bookings: Terms & Conditions

Sessions coordinated directly with the therapist

Once you book a session with a therapist via SoulUp, we put you in touch with them via WhatsApp allowing you and your therapist to coordinate on a mutually convenient time.

Cancellation policy

You can reschedule or cancel sessions or switch therapists upto 24 hours of the slotted time, post which no rescheduling or refund of sessions is possible.

Late to session policy

If you are over 15 mins late to the session, then the session will be held cancelled and no refund will be available. This has been done to ensure a 'full' session for you as well as to ensure enough gap-time for the therapist before their next session.

Cancelling part of a bundled session

For sessions bought as bundle of 4 at discounted price - if after n sessions, either the therapist or the client wants to discontinue sessions, we initiate refund of remaining sessions. In this case, the actual non-discounted price is deducted for each completed session (instead of the pro-rata amount per session) from the price of the bundled offering and the refund is issued.
